Week in review: 3 – 9 February 2020

Right now I am on an Amtrak somewhere between Washington D.C. and New York City. I spent the last four and a half days near and in the U.S. capital. I participated in a professional training that was extremely helpful. My head is full with ideas and some new-found motivation. But first I am officially on winter break. For a whole week and the following Monday (it’s President’s Day).

The training ended already yesterday, but I stayed with friends a little longer in the city. Today I finally finally made it to the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History. That is such a fantastic museum covering all kinds of topics. Even more important, they present them in  a profound, but at the same time entertaining and exciting way. I mainly went there for the dinosaurs. Because I am a huge dinosaur fan. I had so much fun looking at all the skeletons and soaking in all the information.

Also this week I am very proud that I have managed to publish a blog post every single day. The 29 Days of Blogging Challenge is still going strong. It is not easy to travel, work and still write posts. I definitely have slacked replying to comments and reading other blogs and commenting there since Wednesday. But I am confident that this will change now that I am almost back home and have all those days off.

Yes, Really; I was always tempted to buy the lip oil, but this review helped me to finally decide against purchasing any: Dior Lip Glow Oil Review
