Week in review: 8 – 14 October 2018

This week was almost like one in my ideal world. First of all, I had a whole week of fall break which I spent in Manhattan. Second, until Friday the weather was still summery. I know that it is different in New England, but in the city foliage is only about to start. Still in summer dresses, I took plenty of walks, finally had Japanese icecream – which was more delicious than I had expected – and did a lot of touristy things, e.g. going to museums. The best part though was that I got to spend much time with my boyfriend. He had to work all week long, but it is still very lovely to get up and have breakfast together, and then again have dinner and some freetime together. The only flaw was that I had to take the bus home on Saturday afternoon. But that at the same time made the cat happy. I can’t take him to New York with me because my boyfriend’s roommate is allergic to cats. So poor Canavar always has to stay home alone. Since I have come back last night, he hasn’t left my side and we cuddle all the time.
