Week in review: 6 – 12 June 2022

On Wednesday Josephine and I played tourists. We took the subway to Downtown to attend a free baby music class in Rockefeller Park. That was a lot of fun because Josephine like, I guess, all babies loves music. From there we walked around the southern tip of Manhattan. Man, the tourists (other than us) are back in the City. Everything was crowded.

Then we took the ferry to Governor’s Island. That was Josephine’s first ferry ride ever and my first visit to that island. It had been on my bucket list though for a long time. We met a friend there and spent a few hours enjoying the shade and light breeze.

I am aware that Josephine won’t remember these days. But it is so much fun for us together to explore new things right now. It also feels a bit like summer break. So I plan to have about one tourist day per week for the near future.
