We have to talk about tonight. Super Bowl. The New England Patriots vs. the Philadelphia Eagles. I went to a friend’s house to watch. Everything was great. The people, the atmosphere, the food. Oh, and the advertisement. Most of it at least. Since I mostly stream television content nowadays, I actually really enjoy watching so many ads once a year. But from there it went downhill. The Eagles dominated the game from the start. And then in the last quarter the Patriots, or more specifically Tom Brady, lost the ball one too many times. So disappointing. The Eagles absolutely deserved to win – but I couldn’t say that aloud because other people there were much greater football and esp. Pats fans.
And what about that halftime show? I mean: Justin Timberlake. The first CD I ever bought in my life was the single “Tearin’ up my heart”. So … I do like Justin Timberlake. But tonight’s show was just boring. Plus his voice wasn’t strong. Uh, and that horrible outfit. You shouldn’t promise something really exciting if you don’t or can’t keep it.
Lastly, it is pouring tonight. When I came home, I managed to park my car in a giant deep puddle. While I got out with only one wet foot, I couldn’t reach my trunk. There was just no way for me to wade through at least 10 cm deep water with my favorite leather boots. So I couldn’t take my groceries that I had shopped on the way to my friend upstairs. Who knows, I might even have to go without breakfast tomorrow.
I sincerely hope that the new week is going to be better. Else the only solution might be for me to retreat to watching cat videos.

Sehr schade.
Ich wünsche dir eine gute Woche!!
