Week in review: 25 November – 1 December 2019

What a wonderful week! It started with 15 °C and sunshine and finishes with 0 °C and snow (a tiny bit at least). Thanksgiving took place and the Advent time starts. Now that the big family dinner is over, I am starting to plan Christmas meals. Black Friday happened with all its sales – but I was pretty good this year and bought little.

So many great events happened this week. I went on a day trip to an outdoor museum with my class and thoroughly enjoyed looking at animals, walking through a forest, and even going down a slide on an amazing playground. Also, we went properly out on Wednesday with friends and ended up on a rooftop bar from where we could see the Empire State Building. There was even some dancing. On Friday I met the most giant rabbit I have ever seen – he is a therapy animal in a hospital. On the same day we went to see both parts of the “Harry Potter and the Cursed Child” Broadway play after another. As I love Harry Potter and the whole magical world, I felt thrilled to sit in the theater for about five hours in total.

Now it is only another three weeks until Christmas break. I predict that everything will get slightly busier again. I can’t wait to enter the Christmas fray … starting with the Rockefeller Center Christmas tree lighting on Wednesday evening.
