We lived through at least two seasons last week: spring and winter. While the week started warm, it ended with a snow storm and freezing cold. I am still waiting for our first full snow day, but it only looks like a little more snow next weekend. Sigh. Going away at least had me wear my warmest and coziest winter clothes. Although I must say that, after looking at last week’s outfits, I feel I don’t want to wear my grey cardigan as often anymore.
Monday: Even though it wasn’t spring weather anymore, it was still warm and pleasant. I just felt like dressing up a little. I wore: Banana Republic blazer (old, similar*), Rag & Bone top, Primark jeans, shoes (old), dinosaur earrings*.
Tuesday: I had to go to work early because of a short extra meeting. Once I got home in the evening, we went to the movies (“Spies in disguise” was much better and funnier than we had expected). I wore: BCBG Max Azria dress (old, bought in a thrift shop, similar), Primark cardigan (old, similar*), Primark tights, Vince Camuto boots (old, very similar*), earrings (old).
Wednesday: Every week I feel the (work) week is over for me once Wednesday has ended. It is just such a long day with too few breaks. That Wednesday I was happy that my colleague and I somehow managed to catch the earlier train so that we were home by 7 p.m. (already). I wore: Mango sweater (old, very similar*), Primark jeans, shoes (old), Larimar earrings (bought in Dominican Republic, similar*).
Thursday: It felt like nothing could go well on that day. So many people were out sick that even the substitution plan had to be changed several times. All the changes that day made me very tired. And then we had an extra meeting until 5 p.m. But tbh I’d rather substitute than being sick myself. I wore: Clu sweater dress, Primark cardigan (old, similar*), Primark tights, Vince Camuto boots (old, very similar*), dinosaur earrings*.
Friday: Yay, substitution. Eh, nay. I had hoped that I could finally sleep half an hour more on Friday, but then I had to go into work early. Even though the week actually went by well and uneventful, I was happy once my weekend started. I wore: Montego sweater (very old, bought in thrift shop when I still lived in Germany), Primark jeans, Blondo boots (old).
Saturday: I forgot to take a photo. We got up, packed, took the commuter rail to get to my car and then drove to West Shokan in a snow storm. I simply did not think much about my outfit and even less about capturing it on camera. It was a very convenient travel outfit though, i.e. jeans, warm sweater and winter boots.
Sunday: While my boyfriend went skiing, I spent most of the day in our little cottage. It was a wonderful, lazy day. I wore: French Connection wool dress (old, similar*), Victoria Secret top wrap top (similar*), Primark fleece leggings (similar*), Snoozies (similar*).
