I haven’t felt like doing my “What I Wore” weekly posts since the quarantine started in mid-March. My outfits haven’t been exciting since and I am sure you don’t want to see fifty pics of me wearing the same pair of sweatpants. Instead New York City is much more thrilling. So I thought for now I post photos of my daily walks through New York City in the time of Corona once a week.
I started my daily walks last Tuesday and try to visit different areas of Manhattan. Except for putting one foot onto Brooklyn soil on Saturday, I haven’t left the City since March. My main reason to subscribe to the bicycle sharing system was that I can bike to areas much further away – because I have only so much time every day for outside breaks. It has already become one of my favorite activities to take photos on my daily walks through New York City as Corona has changed the vibe so much.
Tuesday: A Midtown walk from Murray Hill to Madison Square Park
Wednesday: A walk to Times Square with a short visit to Bryant Park on the way home
Thursday: A walk to the Upper East Side with the discovery of this beautiful little park at Sutton Place
Friday: A walk along 5th Avenue to Central Park
Saturday: A bike ride to and then a walk across the Brooklyn Bridge
Sunday: A bike ride to Battery Park and then a walk back via Wall Street, the One World Trade Center, Tribeca and Soho
