AD | I love fun socks. Particularly since I have been pregnant, I need something fun for my outfits. Socks are the one thing I can also wear after the pregnancy in the same size. Of course, I have maternity clothes, but they are few, basic and relatively boring. When Chrissy’s Socks asked me to try their thigh high socks, I got very excited.

From the many styles on Chrissy’s Socks website, I chose mostly fun thigh highs. Well, and one black pair for some seriousness. A few days later, they arrived in a small package with no unnecessary packaging. Something I highly value as well as the fact that this company produces their socks in the U.S. and that they are fur free.

My first impression was how pretty and how soft the socks are. They make such a significant difference to my boring winter outfits which consisted of leggings every day. They come in one size, but fit perfectly. While my feet haven’t grown (still a size 38.5/8), my thighs definitely have during the pregnancy. But the socks still fit perfectly.

The crazy cat lady I am had to wear the cat thigh high socks first because they are just so cute. Just like the other pairs, they hold up wonderfully the whole day without any fraying or sagging. I find that super important because there is nothing worse than having to constantly bend down and pulling socks up.

I also love the two pairs of striped thigh highs. They are so much fun during these grey winter days. The more rainbow immediately brighten up my day. And the pink and purple ones remind me of the Cheshire Cat. Plus shocking pink is, of course, my favorite color.

The black thigh high socks are the most normal ones. But I thought I should add one unicolored pair for a more serious outfit. I really like how all pairs are of great quality. They don’t tear. I think they are going to last many wears. That is because they are tough and nicely thick. That is a great plus for the cold winter days we have had here in New York City.

I really love my four pairs of Chrissy’s Socks because of their quality and variety. They add more color and fun to my outfits. I highly recommend them if you want to change your outfits a bit.
