Lasst uns über etwas Schönes reden! Diese Woche war anstrengend genug, dass ich lieber das Positive betonen möchte. Der Kater zum Beispiel ist so ein liebes Häschen geworden, dass er nicht mehr versucht, an mir vorbei durch die Wohnungstür in den Keller zu rennen. Unsere zukünftige Mitbewohnerin kauft schon ein Katzenklo für ihn, damit er sich auch sofort wohlfühlt, wenn wir endlich in Cambridge ankommen. Außerdem ist das Wetter in Istanbul endlich richtig toll geworden, alles ist noch grün und es riecht überall nach Sommer. Die Kinder haben seit Freitag drei Monate Sommerferien und auch ich habe nur noch eine Woche Arbeit vor mir, wobei die etwas anders gestaltet ist und nicht nur Aufgaben erledigen beinhaltet, z.B. gibt es morgen Nachmittag eine Bosporusfahrt. Es könnte also alles viel schlimmer sein, ist es aber zum Glück nicht. Ich wünsche euch einen guten Start in die neue Woche!

Let’s talk about something nice. This week was tiring enough, and I really want to stress the positive things now. For instance Canavar has become such a good pet. He doesn’t even try anymore to run past me and through the apartment door into the basement. Our future flatmate already buys a cat pan for him so that he’ll feel good once we’ll have arrived in Cambridge. Besides, the weather in Istanbul is finally great, everything is still green and smells like summer. Since Friday the kids have three months of summer holidays, and I’m only having one more week at work. And this week is slightly different and not only about fulfilling tasks, e.g. tomorrow afternoon there is a Bosphorus tour. Everything could be a lot worse, but fortunately, it isn’t. I wish you a good new week!
