When you omit too many words ... 🤷‍♀️ Recently, I have had several rather bad days (my broken right wrist and the cast that covers all the way from my hand to over my elbow make me feel mostly helpless), but of course there are also many good things happening:
• my husband is amazing and helps me all the time 🥰, including cutting my food and lending me his sweaters because they nicely fit over the cast
• the two snugglers 🐅🐆 are very cute and finally have appointments to get spayed
• we are both fully vaccinated against Covid and went for the first time in forever to eat inside a restaurant today
• cinemas in the City are supposed to open next Friday and I want to go immediately (I don't even really care about the specific movie)

Today did not go well. At all. Until this morning
$Today did not go well. At all. Until this morning I was still afraid that my second Covid vaccination appointment might get cancelled because of the snow storm - it wasn't. But when I was on the way to the hospital, I slipped on a patch of ice on an uncleared sidewalk and fell on my right wrist 💪. While I still received my vaccine 💉 (yay!!!), they also immediately afterwards walked me over to the ER. Result: I have broken my wrist bones several times and they had to relocate the wrist 😖. I will have to wear a cast for weeks and, if the fractures don't heal well, might still need surgery. A few photos from the last few days: Nothing has really happened. 🛌 After my dramatic fall I spent most of my time in bed and on the sofa pitying myself. At least Rich and the kittens kept me company 👫🐅🐆. My actual hero though are the painkillers 💊. Oh, and then we had Pancake Tuesday 🥞 yesterday - a very important holiday every year.
