Ich muss zugeben, dass ich eine Menge Geld spare, seit ich erst einmal meine Produkte aufzubrauchen versuche, anstatt neue zu kaufen. Bei manchen bin ich dann aber doch ein bisschen traurig, wenn sie alle alle werden, weil ich sie im Moment nicht nachkaufen will und gleichzeitig meine, dass es sie in den USA nicht zu kaufen gibt. Aber da wird es dann so viele neue, mir unbekannte Dinge geben, dass ich jetzt keine Vorräte anlegen will.

I have to admit that I’m saving a lot of money since I’ve been trying to first use up all my products, instead of always buying new ones. Sometimes I’m a bit sad when something is empty because I don’t want to buy it again right now, and I think that they don’t sell it in the US. But there, there are going to be so many new, for me unknown things that I just can’t stock up now.

Alle diese Produkte waren sehr gut. Den Essence Toner habe ich schon oft nachgekauft. Das Chanel-Serum liebe ich auch, zum Glück sind die dazugehörigen Fläschchen für die Nacht und fürs Wochenende noch nicht ganz leer. Die Teebaumölmaske von Beauty Formulas hat sehr gut geholfen, wenn mein Gesicht mal wieder zu Pickeln neigte. Die Augencreme von Benefit würde ich auch wieder kaufen, wenn ich nicht noch genug andere hätte.

All of these products were very good. I bought the Essence toner many times. I also love the Chanel serum, and I’m happy that I still have the related bottles for the night and weekend. The Beauty Formula tea tree oil mask helped very well when my skin started to break out. I would also buy the Benefit eye cream once more if I didn’t still have many other eye creams.

Das Body Balm habe ich wegen dem tollen fruchtigen Geruch geliebt. Auch das Duschgel von Bath & Body Works, die in der Türkei eigene Läden haben, hat sehr gut gerochen. Allerdings war mir hier die Flasche irgendwie zu groß. Ich wechsele eben doch gerne mal ab. Absoluter Flop war aber die In-Shower-Lotion von Watsons, weil sie überhaupt keinen Effekt auf meiner Haut hinterlassen hat. Hätte ich mir wirklich sparen können.

I loved the body balm because of its great fruity smell. The Bath & Body Works shower gel also smelled very good. But I didn’t like that the bottle was so big. I prefer trying something new sooner. The Watsons In-Shower Body Conditioner was an absolute flop because it didn’t have any effect on my skin. It really didn’t make any difference that I used it.

Das lose Puder von Essence gehört zu meinen absoluten Lieblingen, aber leider ist es schon lange aus dem Sortiment genommen. Auch der Concealer von Cosline, der mal in einer Glossybox war, war sehr praktisch. Die Mascara habe ich schon mehrfach nachgekauft und der Clarins Lippenpflegestift gehört auch zu meinen Lieblingen. Die beiden Clinique-Produkte allerdings nicht: Von dem Pore Minimizer habe ich eine unglaublich unreine Haut bekommen, weshalb ich ihn nun aussortiert habe. Der City Block Sheer war in Ordnung, aber immer etwas zäh in der Konsistenz. Inzwischen ist er so alt, dass ich nun besser wegwerfe. Schade, denn sonst habe ich wirklich gute Erfahrungen mit Clinique gemacht.

The Essence loose powder is part of my greatest favorites, but unfortunately they dropped it from their product range some time ago. The Cosline concealer, which once was in my Glossybox, was very convenient. I had already bought the mascara several times before, and the Clarins lip balm is also part of my favorites. But the two Clinique products are not: my skin started breaking out badly when I used the Pore Minimizer which is why I now throw it away. The City Block Sheer was okay, but its texture had always been rather doughy. By now it’s so old that I rather throw it out. It’s a pity because otherwise I’ve only had positive experiences with Clinique.

Endlich bin ich, was Conditioner angeht, bei Proben angelangt, worauf ich sehr stolz bin. Beide waren in Ordnung, aber nicht überragend. Die Olive’s Secret-Maske mit Olivenöl, die ich in Thessaloniki auf dem Flughafen gekauft hatte, mochte ich wirklich gern. Sie hat meine Haare super gepflegt und roch dazu noch gut. Wenn ich mal meine Haare etwas dunkler töne, nehme ich immer dieselbe Sorte von Schwarzkopf, weil sie sich bewährt hat.

Ein paar Wochen habe ich nun noch, um einiges aufzubrauchen, anderes auszusortieren und manches mit nach Boston zu nehmen.

When it comes to conditioners I’ve finally managed to start using samples. And I’m really proud. Both samples were okay, but nothing special. I really liked the Olive’s Secret mask including olive oil, which I once bought at Thessaloniki Airport. It nourished my hair and also smelled really nice. When I feel like tinting my hair a bit darker, I always use the same product from Schwarzkopf because it has proven itself good.

I now have few weeks left to use up some more products, throw out others, and take again others with me to Boston.
