My US Sephora shopping haul

My US Sephora shopping haul

To start off with, I’m very very proud of myself because I didn’t buy any nail polish at all during the two weeks I stayed in the US – although I spent some amount of time standing in the Sephora store in Boston’s Prudential drooling over the Louboutin varnishes. But I’m not allowed to buy any more nail polish, at least not until summer when I probably won’t be able to stop myself and just storm that Sephora store. I still couldn’t manage to buy nothing at all because all those brands I can’t find in Turkey are too attractive. Well, there is Sephora in Turkey, but it’s nothing like the US choice of products. In the end I bought three things:

An Urban Decay B6 Vitamin-Infused Complexion Prep Spray for $33, which I use every morning after my skin care and before putting on make-up. I have the impression that it really soothes my skin and absorbs oil all day long. I chose the spray because of its description and because I didn’t own any similar product (I can always find a good reason to buy stuff ^^). I also like the Bite Beauty High Pigment Pencil in Rhubarb for $24 a lot as the color is subtle, well pigmented and matte. It even lasts on my lips for several hours when I also eat and drink, and it doesn’t dry them out. Well, it’s not like I didn’t have enough lipsticks already, but who cares about one more or less. My last product is the awesome eye shadow palette Style Eye-Con No. 7 “The Night Owl” by Marc Jacobs for $59. I tried all the tester’s colors a lot in the store. The colors are just beautiful, very well pigmented and really soft. Only so far I just haven’t had the heart to use my very own palette. When I exited the US and got the extra security check again (they say that according to the computer I might be dangerous; but nobody knows why that is exactly), it kind of hurt me when the security woman pawed my lovely palette. Now I really don’t want to buy (hardly) any more beauty products before I move, so I’ll play with these in the near future.
