Recipe: Baked Peach Donuts

Tasty and easy to bake peach donuts

Ingredients
  

  • 1 tsp. apple cider vinegar
  • 1/4 cup peach juice
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 tbsp. melted butter and some more to grease the pan
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. of nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 cup of diced peaches about 1 peach
  • 1 cup confectioners sugar for the icing
  • 1/4 cup peach juice for the icing

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 400 °F (200 °C). Grease the donut pan with butter.
  • Whisk the apple cider vinegar, the peach juice and the milk together in a bowl.
  • Add the melted butter and the egg. Whisk.
  • Mix the flour, sugar, baking powder, nutmeg, salt and peaches in.
  • Fill the batter into the donut pan (about 3/4 full).
  • Bake for about 15 to 20 minutes until the edges are all brown.
  • Let cool for about 5 minutes before you take the donuts out of the pan. Then let them completely cool on a wire rack.
  • For the icing, mix confectioniers sugar mit peach juice until you have a smooth, thick mixture. Drizzle over the donuts.
