Immer wieder sonntags #111

First, I had a lot of snow in Istanbul, then minus 12°C in Boston. That doesn’t fell that good, even though the days here are unbelievably bright. By now it has become much warmer, but it has also rained without cease today. When I woke up this morning and heard the rain outside, I had to think loud and hard if I wanted to go to my friend who had invited us for breakfast at her house. The cat was lying on my belly, purred and looked at me with his big wide eyes, so that I had at least two really good reasons to just continue lying in bed. Only I had already accepted. At some point I decided to leave my decision to the Uber fate. So far I hadn’t had the best experience with Uber since the driver never turned up. Uber’s advantage is clear, it is relatively cheap – and today I didn’t have to walk through the rain to the bus stop. My fate obviously also wanted me to go to the breakfast because it sent me a nice Uber driver on time so that I could have breakfast with my friends for four hours. We had bagels and sparkling wine and talked of our Christmas vacation in detail. I am even more looking forward to next weekend by the way because that is a long one thanks to Martin Luther King Day on the following Monday.

  1. Guten Morgen,

    LG Ivi
