What I wore: 27 January – 2 February 2020

Last week I tried to wear more colorful clothes. That helps to lift the mood I feel. I also realized that it was a week full of jeans. They are just so comfortable and warm enough in winters.

Monday: Another Monday, another long day – we had report card conferences in the afternoon. Once I got home, I didn’t do much besides having dinner and reading. I wore: K-Mart shirt, Primark cardigan (old, similar*), Primark jeans, Unionbay shoes (old), earrings (ancient because from 2004).

Tuesday: It was a rather chilly day so I dressed up warmer. Otherwise it was a very average Tuesday. I wore: Forever21 sweater (old, similar*), Primark jeans, Zara boots (old, similar*), Primark earrings (old, similar*).

Wednesday: Such a busy day. I only had a short break and was quite tired and grumpy when I arrived at home (for no obvious reason though). I wore: K-Mart shirt, Primark cardigan (old, similar*), Primark jeans, Adidas wedges (old).

Thursday: Thursdays to me always feel uplifting because the weekend is so close. And my busiest day are over. I worked, then had a meeting, and eventually a quiet evening. I wore: Esprit shirt (old), cardigan (old), Primark jeans, Blondo boots (old), Primark earrings (old, similar*).

Friday: The last day of the first term. I can hardly believe how fast school years pass. I wore: Mango sweater (old, similar*), Primark jeans, Unionbay shoes (old), earrings (old, similar*).

Saturday: I only left the house to go to the movies (“Dolittle” – very entertaininig). Afterwards I did a bit of grocery shopping. I wore: Zara sweater (old, similar*), American Eagle pants (similar*), Nike sneakers*, Mark Jacobs Empire City handbag (also available in black*).

Sunday: I worked most of the day (on the sofa though). In the evening we went to Long Island City and watched the Super Bowl with friends. Oh, and on the way back the 7 train stopped operating – only they forgot to announce it in that station. When we asked after waiting for 35 minutes, they insisted that it came every 10 minutes … We eventually got home thanks to Uber, but unfortunately about 45 minutes later than we had planned. I wore: Red sweater (old, similar*), Primark jeans, Nike sneakers*, Primark earrings (old, similar*).
