Week in review: 6 – 12 September 2021

Another week has passed without significant news. At least it was a short week. I know that only because Rich didn’t go to work on Monday because of Labor Day. To me one day still feels very much like any other. There still haven’t been any news about my work permit or my travel permit or anything really. Yep, the other half of my closet is still sold out everywhere between here and Connecticut. I still struggle to set up a routine (with the exception of meal and nap times). Also, this week the belly/baby has definitely grown quite a bit so I haven’t always felt great physically. Who would have thought that a growing belly also leads to uncomfortable back pain?!

On the other hand, I concerned myself with my resume and goals this week. Since I am already sitting at home, I figured I could also tax my brain and do some online training. So I signed up with Coursera* and started a professional training on project management. That seems a little more productive and I quite enjoy the new input. I guess that is my form of therapy for now. Other than taking plenty of naps and conducting profound conversations with the cats that is, of course.
