Last week seems so far away, which is of course because I’m in total vacation mode. Since I’ve arrived at the hotel on Saturday morning just before 6 a.m., I haven’t done much besides sleeping, eating, and lying in the water (or alternatively sitting at that bar in the pool – it’s terrific!). I sometimes plan ahead as in: When’s the next mealtime? How much might I be able to eat? When will I become tired? Should I read a little or close my eyes? Yes, I do read at least. Either fashion magazines or rather shallow beach novels. And I’ve already kayaked twice – so it’s not like I don’t move at all (although I hardly do). I have also come up with the idea that I really want to see flocks of flamingos (and pelicans would be nice, too) while I’m in the Dominican Republic. Fortunately, there are still many days ahead to do so. I hope your week is just as relaxing as mine!
