Week in review: 28 January – 3 February 2019

It is only an hour until the Superbowl starts. And I have to hurry writing these lines as we still have to pick up chicken wings we have ordered on our way to watch the Superbowl with friends. I am still more interested in the halftime break, but with all those proper Bostonians and Patriots fans around, I am also a little excited about winning possibly another year in a row.

In order to watch the Superbowl together with my boyfriend, I decided not only to spend this weekend in New York City, but to also only return to Boston tomorrow. I found an amazing flight deal, i.e. flying this time was even cheaper than taking the bus. Although that doesn’t feel right, I don’t want to complain because it is nice for once to avoid all the traffic. I guess it’ll still be hard for me to get up tomorrow because my flight is already at 6 a.m. – but then again I feel it is totally worth it. And the icing on the cake would of course be if the Pats won tonight.
