Week in review: 23 – 29 September 2019

All the things that made us happy this week:

  • the summer weather because we get to spend so much time outside still;
  • the British supreme court declared ruled that Johnson’s suspension of parliament was unlawful;
  • it looks like there are legal grounds to maybe impeach Trump;
  • we went to the Deutsche Haus and had schnitzel for dinner;
  • we realized that in two weeks we are already in Europe on vacation;
  • I read the last part of the The Oremere Chronicles #3 (War of Mist)* this week and couldn’t stop until I knew how it ended;
  • Canavar loves the liverwurst I bought for him;
  • my boyfriend was home on Friday which made all of us happy because he had time to himself, the cat had company and I get to come home a little earlier on Fridays and could spend some quality time with both of them;
  • I participated in a 5k run for the first time in my life and it felt amazing;
  • because I got up early on Saturday, Canavar got a very early breakfast and therefore did not feel like he was almost about to starve;
  • I love brunch in Manhattan and was so excited to meet friends on Sunday;
  • by change I found out that there is a German butcher’s on the Upper East Side and I had a wonderful shopping experience there.

|Clicked| Cats Like People! – something I had known before this article and scientific research results just confirm it; being an introvert, I find this advice very useful: Party of One: The Step-By-Step Guide on How to Be Social at an Event When You’re Solo
