I always considered myself a huge summer lover, but this year I begin to find summer annoying. Or maybe not summer, but this summer. It just never seems to stop. One heat wave chases another. Besides, it is always humid. Since we don’t have an air conditioner, Canavar mainly lies on his back putting his little paws into the air, and I wear tiny dresses and sit always next to my fan. It is worse at night when I also have to protect my legs with a blanket because Canavar tends to attack my naked shins in the dark. The easiest solution is always to just leave the apartment – I have never been so happy about my car’s AC. Or the one at work. Sometimes it is even so cold at work that I have to wear a cardigan. What a wonderful feeling. I also love going to New York City because the AC my boyfriend owns is absolutely amazing. Also, on Saturday, for instance, we took a long walk along the East River and the breeze there was so refreshing. Yesterday I enjoyed the pleasant temperatures of Central Park – only to arrive back to my overheated apartment in Boston in the evening. Canavar and I are still hoping for a change in the weather soon. I mean we absolutely would love to complain about a too cold, too whatever fall for a while. I think we’d be really good at it.

|Laughed| when we had a staff party on Wednesday and took funny pictures; I’ve started to play with Canavar and the laser pointer almost every night and it is so much fun when he chases the little red dot
